01. Veritas Cluster Server support for virtual machines running 32-bit or 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL5) guest operating system.

02. Provide Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2P3 and 5.1MP2P4 point patches in the same distribution.

Install Instructions:
=====================
01. Before installing this release update, make sure you have the following versions of
Veritas Cluster Server installed:
      - Veritas Cluster Server 5.1GA
      - Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2
      - Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2P4

02. On each ESX server running RHEL5 virtual machine, Copy cluster_server/vcsvm_tools/rhel5-i686-vcsvm-tools.iso
from the distribution to the /vmimages/tools-isomages directory.

03. Remove the existing version of Veritas Virtualization Manager (VVM) and install the new binary vcsvm.msi
from windows/vvm directory.
      Verify that that the new installation has the version 5.1.2200.

01. Log in as superuser/administrator to a virtual machine where the release update is to be installed.

02. On the virtual machine running RHEL5, install veritas cluster server virtual machine tools (vcsvmtools).
      For details, please refer to Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2 Implementation Guide.

03.  On the virtual machine running operating systems other than RHEL5, install the Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2P3 point patch.
      For details, please follow the instructions in the 5.1MP2P3 patch README.

Uninstall Instructions:

01. Please refer to Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2 implementation guide for uninstalling Veritas Cluster Server 5.1RU1.

Notes:
======
- Do not install Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2P3 on virtual machines running RHEL5.

- Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2P3 and Veritas Cluster Server 5.1MP2P4 are delivered as part of 5.1RU1.

- GrowFS support is not available for virtual machines running RHEL5.

- VVM upgrade is not supported. Reinstall will retain the existing user preferences in VVM.
