Push installation of Backup Exec Remote Agent fails with Error :"Attempt to connect to server \\<RemoteServer> failed with the following error :Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user using more than one user name are not allowed.."

Exact Error Message
Attempt to connect to server \\<Remote server > failed with the following error : "Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user,using more than one user name are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again" ( Figure 1)

Cause :
A Shared resource (i.e: network drive), mapped on the media server which points to a resource on the remote server to which we are trying to push the Remote Agent. (Figure  2)

Resolution

Disconnect the mapped network drive ( Shared resource ) and re-run the installation (Fig.3)

Note :After the installation completes the resource can be mapped back.
