Overview:

The Enterprise Vault (EV) Automatic Classification Engine (ACE) can be configured to exclude messages from specific senders. This exclusion is intended to exclude messages from those senders from any Random Capture processing. There may be a need to run a search in Enterprise Vault (EV) Compliance Accelerator (CA) that will also exclude messages with this exclusion tagging.

Solution:

Set the search criteria as normal, then expand the Policies section and set the policy settings as follows:

1) Policy Type: Ignore exclusions

2) Policy: <All>

Save the settings and run the immediate search or allow the schedule to run for a scheduled search.
