Solution:

Whenever Backup Exec reports the above mentioned error a hardware level SCSI error is likely to have occurred indicating that the target device hardware has returned an error.

2. If the error persists please contact the hardware vendor

'NOTE: Even Fiber attached libraries and tape drives communicate using basic SCSI commands, so the above mentioned solution is applicable there too.
