Details:
If a reboot of the remote server is pending from a previous Installation or Uninstall of the Advanced open file Option the Installation of RAWS Fails out with the following error reported in Bkupinst.htm.

Note: This issue can sometimes occur even after the remote machine has been rebooted.
Implement the Following steps for the resolution :
1. Click on
Start -> Run -> Type "Regedit" -> Press Enter [Click Ok]
Warning: Incorrect use of the Windows registry editor may prevent the operating system from functioning properly. Great care should be taken when making changes to a Windows registry. Registry modifications should only be carried-out by persons experienced in the use of the registry editor application. It is recommended that a complete backup of the registry and workstation be made prior to making any registry changes.
2. Search for the string "AofoReboot" at:
My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\AofoReboot
3. Delete the
AofoReboot Key. Exit the Registry.
4. Start the Remote Agent Installation again by Double clicking the
SetupAA.cmd from
RAWS32 Folder
