Incorrect function error occurs during a tape inventory if more than one type of tape drive is in an autoloader or library
Details:
For example,
a library with LTO2 and LTO3 drives and tapes. Bar codes exist on the tape and
bar code rules are enabled in Backup Exec.
Solution:
Set the
Barcode Rules to the rules of the barcode labels instead of using the
prefix/suffix. Barcodes used are 0002xx for LTO2 tapes and 0003xx for LTO3
tapes.
