NetBackup (NBU) 6.5.3 Release Announcement

On December 01, 2008, the NetBackup 6.5.3 release is
generally available for customer download. NetBackup 6.5.3 is the latest in the
series of NetBackup 6.5 Release Updates. Release Updates are delivered
sequentially following major releases of NetBackup, generally at 4 to 6-month
intervals. NetBackup 6.5 became available on August 6, 2007 and 6.5.1 on
December 5, 2007 and 6.5.2 on June 8th, 2008.. Release updates always include
defect fixes and various types of OS platform and hardware proliferations, and
may also include NetBackup feature enhancements. The primary enhancement themes
for NetBackup 6.5.3 are:
