Remote agent for Backup Exec System Recovery cannot be push installed
Details:
Issue:
The remote agent for Backup Exec System Recovery
cannot be push installed to a remote
system.
Solution:
Before proceeding further, ensure that
the user is logged directly onto the system and is not using remote
desktop.
1. Copy the contents of the following folder to the remote
system. C:\Program files\Symantec\Backup Exec System
Recovery\Packages\Agent
Note: If this folder is empty, reinstall the
software using the "Custom Install..." option, select the drop down the User
Interface option and make sure "Agent Deployment" is installed.
2.
Run the Windows Installer package "Symantec Backup Exec System
Recovery".
3. Reboot the system.
4. Attempt to connect to the
system.
