Note: Virtual Node will not display the virtual machines in the selection list. Please refer to the Backup Exec Software compatibility list in the Related Documents Section
Hyper-V application is not clustered but the guest machines on Hyper-V are clustered.
Backup Exec needs Hyper-V application running to query the guest machines hence we need to backup from the active node.

- If the guest machines are clustered and hosted by Hyper-V Backup Exec backs up from the active node
- Figure 1 shows the selection list of guests machines clustered and hosted by Hyper-V
