AVVI Agent Backup Job completes with exception "Failed to mount one or more virtual disk images"

Failed to mount one or more virtual disk images

Details:

The exception listed above can occur for two reasons:

Cause 1: A Non-Windows guest machine is being backed up.
Solution 1: When backing up non-Windows guest machines, deselect the AVVI GRT (Granular Restore Technology) feature. GRT is not supported for non-Windows guest machines.

Cause 2: There is an unformatted disk attached to the guest machine.
Solution 2: Format the disk, remove the disk, or deselect the AVVI GRT feature.
