How to remove old tape drivers from Windows that are no longer needed or in use.

Details:
Open a command prompt in when logged in as administrator.
Open path to C:\Windows\System32
Type "SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1" at command prompt without quotes.
Press enter to run the command.
Then type in devmgmt.msc at the command prompt to open Device Manager.

Note: Device Manager must be opened by the command prompt.

Once in Device Manager, go to the View menu and choose Show Hidden Devices, which will show all the device drivers including the drivers that are not currently installed and running on the computer.

Drivers that are no longer loaded will show as grayed out and can be uninstalled.
