Unable to install an updated Enterprise Vault Client or uninstall an old Enterprise Vault Client

Details:
Scenario 1
When attempting to remove the Enterprise Vault Client from Add or Remove Programs it appears to be a successful uninstall. However, within Add or Remove Programs, the agent still appears in the Installed Programs list.  This can occur if there is a Group Policy Object (GPO) pushing an old install to the problem workstation.

Solution:
1. Log onto the workstation locally and uninstall the old Enterprise Vault Client.
2. Re-install the new Enterprise Vault Client.
3. Make sure the GPO has been updated or removed to prevent this from happening again.

Scenario 2
The Enterprise Vault client was pushed out by Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS).

Solution:
Consult the Microsoft documentation for assistance in removing the MSI file.
