Fig2
Resolution:
While
creating a RSG in Exchange 2007 following parameters need to be specified:
Transaction
log file folder
System
folder and Checkpoint file folder
Database
folders and file name.
As indicated
in the events above this error will come up if the location specified for
"Transaction log file folder" and "System folder and Checkpoint file folder" is
different. To resolve the problem remove the existing RSG and recreate it. While
recreating the RSG make sure to specify same folder for "Transaction log file
folder" and "System folder and Checkpoint file folder".
Note: In
Exchange 2007 one can create RSG either using Exchange Management Console or
using Exchange Management Shell. If Exchange 2007 SP1 is not installed then
option to change the default path won't be available while creating RSG using
Exchange management console.
Refer to the
document in the related documents section for information on how to create a RSG
using Exchange Management Shell.
