How to uninstall a Backup Exec for Windows Servers hotfix or service pack
Details:
Starting with Backup Exec 11d, most hotfixes and service
packs came with the option to uninstall them. To uninstall a hotfix or
service pack, follow these instructions:
Windows
20001. Open Add/Remote Programs from the control
panel.
2. Scroll through the list of programs installed, and find
Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Servers. Listed below this, all installed
hotfixes and service packs will be listed.
3. Select the hotfix or
service pack that needs to be uninstalled, and click the Change/Remove
button. (Figure 1)

2. Check the option at the
top of the window to show updates. (Figure 2)
3. Scroll through the
list of programs installed, and find Symantec Backup Exec for Windows
Servers. Listed below this, all installed hotfixes and service packs will
be listed.
4. Select the hotfix or service pack that needs to be
uninstalled, and click the Remove button. (Figure 2)

to View Installed Updates (Figure 3)
3. Scroll through the list of
products installed, and find Symantec Backup Exec for Windows
Servers.
4. Select the hotfix or service pack that needs to be
uninstalled, and click the Uninstall button. (Figure 4)
