The Backup Exec 11d Job Engine service will crash at the end of the backup set if it contains a server that has a double hyphen (--) anywhere in the server name.

Details:
With Backup Exec 11d for Windows Servers, the Job Engine service will crash at the end of the backup set if it contains a server that has a double hyphen (--) anywhere in the server name, i.e. "SERVER--NAME".  There will be no job log or catalogs for any jobs running at the time, as the service failure occurs before these files can be written.

This issue is fixed in Service Pack 4 for Backup Exec 11d build 7170.
