After upgrading Backup Exec for Windows Servers with Desktop and Laptop Option (DLO) to version 11d build 7170 the Backup Exec DLO Administration Service will not start.
Exact Error Message
Failed to recover database. Error:0x00000007
Details:
The error that shows in the DLOAdminsvcu.log is
"Failed to recover database. Error:0x00000007". The
DLOAdminsvcu.log is located on the DLO Media Server in the X:\Program
Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\DLO\Logs
Folder.
Resolution:
This issue has been fixed in
Hotfix 32 for Backup Exec 11d (build 7170). To obtain this Hotfix, either
run LiveUpdate on the media server or manually download it per the information
contained in the following:
