Exact Error Message
A failure occurred querying the Writer status. Writer Name: Exchange Server, Writer ID: {76FE1AC4-15F7-4BCD-987E-8E1ACB462FB7}, Last error: 0x800423f3, State: 0013. Consult your Microsoft documentation for details. Check the Windows Event Viewer for corresponding application or system errors.
Details:
This error will occur if an Exchange Database to be
restored is configured with a different directory structure than the one when it
was backed up. For Example, if during backup the location of log files and
database files (.edb and .stm) was C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\Mdbdata and during
restore the location of log files or the database files has been changed to some
other location, then the restore will fail with this error.
To resolve
the issue, delete the storage group, the stores, and re-create them using the
same directory structure as was at the time of backup.
