This hotfix resolves the following issues
SQL 2K5 Data is not displaying correctly when SQL is clusteredIf HF9 was being applied RAWS.MSP file would not be updated by HF10Unable to start services when SQL2K5 is clustered (See related documents for workaround)
NOTE: In addition to applying this hotfix, the Restrict Anonymous Support key may need to be set to a value of 1 on both nodes of the cluster for the SQL resources to be displayed under the virtual server. Please see related documents on how to enable Restrict Anonymous Support.
Which files does this hotfix update?
After installing the hotfix, the attributes of the installed files will change as indicated in the table below. Note that the date and time are stored in Universal Time. When looking at the date and time of the file(s) on the server where the hotfix was installed, they will be converted to local time. Use the Date and Time tool provided by Windows to determine the difference between universal time and local time.

Special Installation Instructions
This section contains additional installation instructions for installing Hotfix 13
Remote Agent - 64 bit
After installing this Hotfix to the Backup Exec 10.1 media server, you must reinstall the "Remote Agent for Windows Servers" to all 64 bit computers being protected by Backup Exec. To reinstall the Remote Agent, type the following from the 64 bit computer:
msiexec.exe /p "<path>\RAWS64.msp" REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=omus
Note 1: <path> = path to the \Backup Exec\NT\Agents\RANT64 directory on the Backup Exec media server
Note 2: This Hotfix can only patch previous installations of the Backup Exec Remote Agent 64bit (it does not patch the original installation source files for the Remote Agent for 64 bit computers). This Hotfix places a "patch" file (RAWS64.msp) in the \Backup Exec\NT\Agents\RANT64 directory on the media server. If installing the Backup Exec Remote Agent for 64 bit computers to additional 64 bit computers in the future, run the command above after the initial agent installation to install the patch.
Remote Agent - x64 bit
After installing this Hotfix to the Backup Exec 10.1 media server, you must reinstall the "Remote Agent for Windows Servers" to all x64 bit computers being protected by Backup Exec. To reinstall the Remote Agent, type the following from the x64 bit computer:

Microsoft Cluster
Before installing this Hotfix to Backup Exec 10.1 media servers on each node of a Microsoft Cluster, stop the Backup Exec services using "Cluster Administrator."
Central Administration Servers
Before installing this Hotfix on a Backup Exec 10.1 Central Administration Server (CAS), communication must be disabled between the CAS and all Managed Media Servers (MMS).
1. Open the Backup Exec User Interface
2. Click Media Servers
3. Right-click on each MMS and clear the Communication Enabled check box
After the hotfix is installed, enable communication between the CAS and all MMSs.

3. Right-click on each MMS and select the Communication Enabled check box
Installation Procedures
To install this Hotfix on a media server, download the Hotfix. A prompt will appear asking whether to Open or Save the download. Perform either of the following:
Select Open to automatically patch the installation of Backup Exec 10.1.
- or -
Select Save to save the download to the computer in order to install the hotfix later.
To install this Hotfix on a server running the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers, perform one of the following:
1. After installing this Hotfix to the media server, push install the Remote Agent from the Tools\Install Remote Agents menu option in Backup Exec
- or -
2. Copy the installation files to the remote server from the path C:\Program Files\Veritas\Backup Exec\Agents\RANT32 then from a command prompt on the remote server, change directories to the path the files were copied to and run setupaa.cmd
Uninstalling the hotfix
Important: Once installed, this Backup Exec Hotfix cannot be uninstalled
