Lotus Domino selections fail to enumerate within Backup Selections. Remote Agent debug from Lotus Domino Server reports the error "NOTES ERROR! Could not attach to BELNAPI 0:"
Exact Error Message
Notes Agent: No existing BELNAPI 0: Server. Launching one now.
Notes Agent: launching belnapi.exe "D:\Lotus\Domino\" "beremote" "job" 0

Details:
The first sign that Backup Exec (tm) is experiencing a BELNAPI connection error is that the Lotus Domino selections fail to enumerate within Backup Selections. However, only a Remote Agent debug log from the Lotus Domino Server can confirm that this is actually the issue.  Information on creating a Remote Agent debug is available in the Related Documents section at the end of this TechNote. Search for the exact error message listed above, in the Remote Agent debug log, to confirm the issue.  If you are currently experiencing this issue, it is recommended to contact Symantec Technical Support for a workaround.
A hotfix is now available for this issue in the current version(s) of the product(s) mentioned at the end of this article. Refer to the Hotfix link under Related Documents at the end of this article to obtain the hotfix needed to resolve the issue.
