After changing the Network Data Management Protocol (NDMP) port in the Windows services file on the Backup Exec Media Server or the backup target, the NDMP port change is not honored.

Details:
This problem can occur if the <Enter> key was not used after the protocol statement to generate a new line character. The Windows services file is read line by line. The end of a line is denoted by a new line character. If this character is missing, it will skip all lines until a new line character is encountered (Figure 1).

Once a new line has been created, the remote agent will listen on the newly designated port.
