"Unable to acquire media. The media set this operation is attempting to use can not be found. Please select another media set for this operation" (a000e194 HEX or e000e194 HEX) is reported when a backup job fails

This error message is caused by a backup job running without having a media set assigned to it (Figure 1).

To enable backup jobs to run properly, every backup job must have at least one media set assigned to it.

To create a media set, click Media on the navigation bar. Right-click on Media Sets, and then select New Media Set (Figure 2).

When prompted for the media set name, type Media Set 1 or some other name, and then click OK (Figure 3).
