Can utility jobs be scheduled in Backup Exec for Windows Servers 9.x and above?

Details:
While Backup Exec (tm) 8.x is limited to scheduling "cleaning" jobs, most utility jobs can be scheduled in Backup Exec 9.x for Windows Servers and above.

In the example below, an inventory is being scheduled for a future time to run.

To perform this operation:

1. From the navigation bar, under Devices, select the tape device, which selects the Inventory operation in the left pane (Figure 1)

2. Click on the Inventory operation which will display the Inventory Job Properties window (Figure 2)

3. With Schedule selected from the left pane, the job can either be scheduled to run at a later date by selecting the Run according to schedule option or run as a Run now job (Figure 2)

4. Click Edit Schedule Details for other Run according to schedule options (Figure 2), the job can be assigned to run a certain time of day and recur at that same time everyday (Figure 3). Once the correct schedule has been assigned, click OK (Figure 3).

5. Once the correct schedule has been assigned, submit the complete job setup (Figure 4)

6. A message that the job has been scheduled will be displayed. Click OK when prompted (Figure 5).

7. The scheduled job may be viewed in Job Monitor (Figure 6).
