Before adding any ASL package, make sure VERITAS Volume Manager (VxVM) is installed and enabled (vxdctl mode command should return "enabled"):
# vxdctl mode
mode: enabled
To install the package type:
After the package is installed, you MUST run the vxdctl enable command to claim the disk array as a Toshiba Array:
After running vxdctl enable, you should see libvxaf.so in output of vxddladm listsupport:
# vxddladm listsupport | grep -i toshiba
libvxaf.so A/A TOSHIBA AF_AF3500
