How to uninstall the VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) Windows NT Agent Accelerator (NTAA) manually
Details:
In most circumstances, the Backup Exec Windows NT Agent
Accelerator (NTAA) can be successfully uninstalled by either:
1. Using
Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
2. Running
DelNTAA.exe from the \BENTAA directory.
If the Backup
Exec Windows NT Agent Accelerator cannot be removed using either of the options
given above, the agent can be manually removed by following these
steps:
1. Stop the Backup Exec Agent Accelerator service in Control
Panel | Services (Figure 1).

2. Delete the directory X:\BENTAA, where
X is the drive letter where the Agent Accelerator files are
located.
3. Click Start on the taskbar, select Run, and
then type regedit.
4. Delete the registry key listed below (Figure
2).
